Shri Bharat Bhushan, a prominent legal professional has four decades of experience in the field. He belongs to the Delhi High Court Judicial Service from which he superannuated in 2003. A Bachelor of Law from Delhi University, he enrolled himself as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1967.
A person with distinguished professional track record Shri Bhushan served as Prosecutor in Delhi Administration and conducted cases on behalf of the State. He joined as Member of Delhi Judicial Service in 1972, promoted to Delhi Higher Judicial Services in 1986 and served in that capacity till superannuation. After Superannuation he worked as a Member (Judicial), Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi and thereafter as Member (Judicial) Appellate Tribunal (VAT), Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Presently he is actively engaged in the Legal consultation work and handling arbitration matters under the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. He is empanelled as Arbitrator with various Government and other reputed organizations. He is a Member of Indian Council of Arbitration.
During his long service career spanning over four decades, Shri Bhushan had the privilege of manning posts of Judicial/Quasi judicial/Administrative nature in various capacities, and dealt with innumerable cases of Civil Law, Criminal Law, Labour Laws, Sales Tax matters, Service matters and CBI. Besides this, on Administrative side too, he dealt with many complex matters.
